twilight ombre & inky tank dress

The bottom half of this pencil dress is fashioned from super-soft mid-weight rayon jersey, and the bodice is fashioned from an absolutely breathtaking high-end textile. It's a yard-dyed knit (meaning that the pattern is woven from different colored fibers rather than being printed on top). The fabric is beefy and highly elastic, so it provides some compression in addition to its flattering ombre design. Best of all, it's a rayon/nylon/lycra blend, so the textile is cool and breathable in spite of its weight.
